GLASS CLEAR NOTE - FRAMED

Across an uncharted current, Glass Clear Note proposes movement as a form of attention, where direction is felt before it is understood. The sea turtle does not seem to hurry toward its destination; its raised head and open flippers suggest a steady negotiation with forces beyond the visible frame. Brightness gathers around its passage, making the surrounding water feel less like a setting than a responsive field.

The shell becomes the work’s center of gravity, carrying warm rust, orange, and violet notes within its patterned breadth. Against the cooler water, these markings lend the turtle a sense of quiet distinction without separating it from the world it moves through. The creature appears both grounded and weightless, held between the assurance of its body and the uncertainty of open space.

A diagonal current carries the eye upward while deeper blue gathers beneath the turtle, giving its passage a subtle lift. Pale flecks and curved traces around it suggest water continually changing - not obstructing the journey, but refusing to remain still. What emerges is a poised image of persistence, in which calm does not mean stillness and freedom retains a sense of direction.
