Between dark escarpments and thinning light, Glacial Distance frames passage as an encounter with remoteness rather than a destination. The channel draws the eye forward, yet its narrowing course withholds any clear arrival. Cool blues and the pale opening beyond the cliffs create a sense of suspension, as though time has slowed where water, stone, and sky meet.
The luminous bands along the right-hand ice suggest not comfort but exposure - a brightness that makes the surrounding depths feel more secluded.
