FREE FLOW

Across a charged field of luminous color, Free Flow presents flight as an act of release rather than escape. A dark bird cuts through the center with unusual composure, its extended wings holding a steady line between the cooler air above and the restless abundance below. The image feels less like a passage toward somewhere than a moment of absolute momentum, suspended before direction becomes destination.

The bird’s silhouette gathers the surrounding energy without seeming to belong entirely to it. Behind the pointed head, a bright yellow-orange opening suggests illumination that is felt as much as seen, while the surrounding blues and violets give the upper space a sense of depth and distance. This contrast lends the central figure a poised clarity, as though instinct has found its own form of balance.

Below, bands of green, magenta, purple, and deep blue rise into one another like successive currents. They bring a more unsettled rhythm to the work, complicating the freedom suggested by the open wings. Movement here is not weightless; it carries the pressure of change, the pull of the world beneath any attempt to pass beyond it.

What remains is an image of vitality held in suspension - vivid, directional, and open to several readings. The bird may suggest instinct, renewal, or simply the brief privilege of moving through a world whose intensity cannot be controlled. Its flight gains force from that uncertainty, leaving the scene charged with possibility rather than resolution.
