FORUM - oil painting on canvas by Leonid Afremov

FORUM — A vibrant urban scene unfolds in bold color and animated texture. Bright daylight catches the façades, tree canopy, shopfronts, and rain-bright roadway, creating an energetic city view with a reflective pulse.

Seen from street level, a large leafy tree anchors the left side beside a darker building mass. Across the center, simplified multi-story architecture and storefronts form a lively horizontal streetscape, with the clearly visible FORUM sign marking the central façade. The right side gathers shop windows and vivid vertical accents. Below, broken blue, yellow, orange, red, and white brushstrokes transform the broad roadway into a field of shimmering reflections. Short, layered marks and strong contrasts give the scene expressive, heavily textured movement, while cobalt skies, emerald foliage, warm architectural notes, and charcoal shadows balance one another.

This colorful cityscape brings an immediate sense of motion and brightness to urban interiors, creative workspaces, hallways, and gathering areas. Its strong horizontal arrangement suits walls that benefit from visual breadth, while the reflective pavement draws the eye through the composition and adds changing rhythm at close range. The combination of recognizable storefront details, leafy greenery, and painterly abstraction offers a versatile focal point for contemporary settings seeking an energetic yet thoughtful atmosphere.
