On the berth

In the painting made with palette knife, Leonid Afremov captured a berth with yachts in the small American town called Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As always, the painting abounds with colors and in this case they correspond very well to the mood of the painting – after all, in it we see a small resort town imbued with an atmosphere of relaxation and fun, the colors filling the canvas resemble confetti or fireworks – the sky is dotted with these colorful strokes among which the violet color dominates – maybe the night lights give it such a color – reflecting in the sky they paint it in the most amazing colors – also we see quite a lot of shades of  blue, and in some places large concourses of yellow.
