The dark trunks create a natural threshold, as though the forest is withholding its farther reaches while allowing brief passage. Across the center, angled bands of sunlight interrupt the canopy and fall in broken brightness, making the journey feel less like an arrival than a gradual recognition of what has been present all along.

That tension between concealment and invitation gives the work its emotional depth.
