FOREST OF SHIFTING COLOR - FRAMED

A passage through autumn and renewal, Forest of Shifting Color turns the forest into a gradual emotional crossing. Its movement from heated reds toward cooler greens suggests not a fixed season, but a world continually becoming something else. The central opening offers direction without promising arrival, holding the viewer between departure and discovery.

The dark trunks give this shifting world a steady rhythm. They rise through the foliage like intervals in a thought, separating glimpses of intensity while keeping the whole scene connected. Beneath them, the path recedes into concentrated light, lending the journey a sense of invitation tempered by distance.

At the center, yellow light gathers with unusual force, as though clarity has briefly surfaced within the surrounding abundance. Yet the darker margins remain present, preventing the scene from settling into simple optimism. Its brightness feels earned by passage through complexity rather than offered as an easy conclusion.

The forest therefore becomes less a place to enter than a state of attention - alert to change, receptive to uncertainty, and alive to the possibility that perception itself may be in motion. The overlapping canopy seems to hold many moments at once, allowing the work to remain vivid without resolving its direction.
