I would like to present my hand painted oil on canvas painting (recreation) of the artwork FONDNESS 2. I made this piece with the same amount of soul and emotion just like the first original painting. This piece is created with oil paint on artistic canvas using my unique technique of a palette knife. The artwork has texture, you can feel the strokes by touching the painting. By purchasing on this site, you are buying directly from the artist Leonid Afremov. I guarantee your satisfaction and the best customer experience.

The certificate of authenticity will include the name of the owner who purchased the piece of artwork. The certificate is signed by Leonid Afremov. If you buying this painting as a gift, please provide us the name of the gift recipient for the certificate. We can also ship to the address of the recipient of your gift.

about this painting:

FONDNESS

Children of fields

Flowers are the most exquisite and fragile creatures on our planet. Each flower is a perfect example of mathematical and biological harmony, a tiny map of the world that unfolds between the petals. This is probably the reason we are so fascinated with them. A bunch of beautiful flowers reminds us of everything we appreciate: sun, life, love... It is associated with the first warm days of spring, the freshness of morning dew, the sweetness of night romance. Even the very fragrance of our favorite flowers can send our head spinning. The delicate bouquet blooming on this canvas will never wither. Put in on your wall among other Leonid Afremov paintings and enjoy the sight of these simple yet so charming flowers every time you pass by!

Everlasting beauty

The ability to put flowers together into a lovely bouquet is just as important as the ability to paint them. Obviously, Leonid Afremov is lucky to have both of these talents. The combination of refreshing white, intense orange and deep crimson on a cheerful blue background immediately puts you in a dreamy, elated mood. You can almost feel the sweet aroma of sun-warmed petals and touch their delicate surface with your fingers. Wouldn’t it be great to wake up every morning and see this beautiful bouquet on your wall? It is possible if you know the way to our online gallery!

A pleasure for your eyes

Leonid Afremov is known for his memorable style that makes his paintings easily recognizable among other samples of modern art. The artist is often referred to as a late impressionist because of his bold use of colors and dynamic stroke arrangement. Instead of a brush, he wields a palette knife which gives his canvases a special feel. Paintings of flowers constitute a huge chunk of the artist’s work. Some of his other favorite themes include:

  • Dazzling night cityscapes
  • Quiet rainy parks
  • Delicate autumn landscapes
  • Romantic sea views
  • Portraits of musicians, dancers and happy couples

This website is literally a treasury of art hosting hundreds of Leonid Afremov paintings for sale! Take a closer look around and you’ll definitely find a painting meant for your home!

You must understand my delight at being able to find and buy a copy of Alley by the Lake after years of searching. I cannot believe that just a year ago, I was in a Walmart in Iraq after being informed that they had an unlimited supply of these paintings. I ad also heard that Leonid Afremov himself was a slave in one of the Walmart's sweatshops. This completely outraged me, but I found it to be nothing but a simple hoax! After escaping the Taliban successfully, I came back home to find this website and was able to order it using the magic of technicalology! Thanks my lucky stars for gugle and beeng!
