Within a gathering of shadowed grasses, Floating Dream considers companionship as a small act of recognition. Two pale, rounded figures meet among the reeds, their simple dark eyes giving their closeness a gentle alertness. They seem less like visitors from another world than fleeting presences that the surrounding landscape has briefly allowed us to notice. The darker green behind them makes their meeting feel sheltered, while the lifted stems suggest a place still moving softly around their pause.
Their nearness carries a tender ambiguity: are they sharing a secret, keeping watch, or simply finding reassurance in being seen? Pale yellow-green touches keep the figures from becoming ghostly in a fearful sense, and the surrounding vegetation gives their encounter an almost weightless, suspended character. The work holds its dreamlike mood without explaining it, leaving companionship to emerge through the quiet balance between vulnerability and belonging.
