FERAL PATTERN 2 - FRAMED

Within its compressed field of competing directions, Feral Pattern 2 turns abstraction into a study of instinct meeting structure. Angular planes press against one another without settling into a single order, suggesting a system that is constantly revising itself. The effect is not chaotic so much as fiercely alert, with each shape seeming to claim a temporary place before the surrounding forms shift its meaning.

The darker passage through the center and lower portion gives the composition a gravitational pull, while vivid greens, turquoise, violet, red, and yellow gather around it like opposing currents. This tension keeps the eye moving between enclosure and release. No recognizable figure anchors the arrangement, so the work leaves room for a more inward reading: thought under pressure, emotion breaking into facets, or an instinctive pattern that resists being named.

Its energy comes from the way the planes interlock while remaining visibly distinct. The composition feels dense but not closed, offering repeated moments where a bright edge cuts through darker weight and changes the balance nearby. What first appears as a forceful collision gradually becomes a nuanced negotiation between disruption and coherence, making the image feel alive with decisions that never become final.
