FERAL GLYPH explores ancient symbolic shapes inspired by Mayan aesthetics, bathed in dim radiance, worked into tactile gradients through layered palette knife textures and sculptural strokes.

Within a dark field of charged geometry, Feral Glyph 2 turns the idea of a sign into something immediate and unsettled. Its circular structure suggests a code with no promised translation, while the dense internal forms seem to press against the order that contains them. The work holds the tension between recognition and uncertainty, as though meaning is present but deliberately withheld.
The central emblem gathers force through its interlocking blocks and enclosing arcs. Black contours give the composition a stern rhythm, while flashes of crimson, burnt orange, gold, and purple interrupt that severity with a sense of stored energy. Rather than pointing to a single symbol or belief, the glyph feels open to associations with ritual, memory, and systems that survive after their original language has been forgotten.
Around the emblem, the surrounding marks prevent it from becoming fixed or ceremonial in a simple way. They create a restless atmosphere, as if the sign is still forming its authority through repetition and pressure. A small pale mark near the lower edge offers a fleeting human trace, but it remains ambiguous - less a signature of certainty than a reminder that interpretation always enters through an imperfect threshold.
