FEELINGS OF LIGHT - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

FEELINGS OF LIGHT — Feelings of Light draws the viewer into a glowing woodland passage where color, movement, and companionship converge. Two figures walk side by side, their quiet progress surrounded by radiant foliage and deep, shifting shadows.

Viewed from behind, the pair occupies the lower center of the composition, moving along a richly textured path. A broad, dark tree trunk rises through the center-right, balanced by curving branches and vertical trunks that create a natural framework. At upper left, a luminous lamp emerges among the branches, casting warm illumination across orange, golden-yellow, and red foliage. Turquoise, cobalt, and violet accents deepen the cooler recesses, while bright marks across the ground suggest reflected light. Expressive, layered brushwork gives the woodland an immersive, tactile energy, with vivid contrasts shaping every turn of the scene.

Its romantic atmosphere and saturated palette bring warmth and visual depth to living rooms, reading corners, bedrooms, or creative workspaces. The close positioning of the walkers suggests shared purpose and gentle companionship, while the woodland setting offers an inviting sense of escape. Hang it where changing light can emphasize the contrast between fiery highlights and blue-violet shade, creating a colorful focal point with a contemplative, luminous presence.
