FALLING HORIZON - FRAMED

Within this enclosed autumn passage, Falling Horizon turns a woodland stream into a movement toward release. The dark trunks hold the scene in a close, sheltering tension, while the water draws the eye beyond them toward a pale opening. Its vivid season feels less like a fixed moment than a threshold, where warmth and distance begin to separate.

The central current gives the work its inward rhythm. It gathers the saturated reflections of the banks before carrying them toward the cooler light ahead, suggesting how memory can remain colored by what it is leaving behind. The route is clear, but its destination stays deliberately unresolved.

Above the water, the foliage forms an arch that is both generous and enclosing. Burnt orange, rust, and gold bring an almost celebratory intensity to the passage, yet the shadowed trunks keep that brightness from becoming simple or carefree. The scene holds exhilaration beside a gentle awareness of change.

At the far opening, lavender and muted blue interrupt the autumnal heat with a sense of air and continuation. Nothing in the landscape insists on arrival; instead, it preserves the feeling of moving through a vivid interval, attentive to the point where familiar shelter gives way to a wider unknown.
