This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
FADING BODY presents massive abstract forms pushing against one another, creating a sense of weight and visual pressure, rendered at an exaggerated scale that fills the canvas.
Thick palette knife strokes build ridges, edges, and layered surfaces that give the paint a sculptural quality.
The composition balances raw energy with controlled structure.

At the center of emotional proximity, Fading Body brings two human profiles into a charged encounter that feels less like a portrait than a negotiation between opposing states. Their faces draw together at the boundary between crimson warmth and lucid blue, where intimacy and resistance become difficult to separate. The surrounding darkness gives this meeting a concentrated, almost suspended intensity.
The two figures seem to share the same narrow threshold, yet neither fully yields to the other. The warm-toned profile carries a suggestion of urgency, while the cooler presence appears more withdrawn or searching; these readings remain open as the faces converge without resolving into a single expression. Their closeness feels significant precisely because it does not guarantee harmony.
Light gathers around the meeting point, making the encounter feel briefly illuminated from within. Beyond it, the dark field presses inward, withholding any reassuring context and leaving the relationship to exist on its own terms. This tension gives the work an intimate drama: connection appears possible, but it is shaped by distance, difference, and the risk of being seen.
The profiles are large enough to eclipse the world beyond them, turning the composition toward the inner pressures of recognition. What passes between the two faces may be tenderness, confrontation, or a moment when both meanings occupy the same space. The work holds that uncertainty steadily, allowing its emotional force to remain vivid without closing into a fixed story.
