EVERGREEN SNOWFALL - FRAMED

Winter gathers among these branches, and Evergreen Snowfall turns that gathering into a study of shelter, distance, and suspended time. The evergreen boughs press inward from the edges, yet the pale openings between them keep the scene from becoming enclosed. Snow seems to pause the ordinary movement of the forest, making each branch feel briefly held between endurance and release.

The work’s cool turquoise intervals lend the dense foliage a sense of air beyond the immediate view. Against that openness, the snow reads less as decoration than as a soft interruption - a reminder that the living forms continue beneath a season that temporarily quiets them. The close perspective brings the scene near without making it familiar; it retains the privacy of a place entered only through attention.

There is a measured stillness here, but not emptiness. The overlapping branches suggest continuity, a persistent green presence carrying through the cold while small white traces gather and disappear. What remains most compelling is the balance between concealment and invitation: the forest offers no path or explanation, only a brief clearing in which winter can be felt as both pause and presence.
