ELECTRIC VISTA - FRAMED

Between open water and the inhabited cliff, Electric Vista considers how refuge can remain inseparable from exposure. The coastal settlement appears to hold its ground above a restless edge, offering a human measure against the breadth of sea and sky. Its presence feels neither wholly secure nor threatened, but suspended in a balance shaped by distance, weather, and the continuing pull of the horizon.

The diagonal rise of the shoreline leads the eye toward the pale buildings, yet the destination never becomes a simple point of arrival. Beneath them, the cliffs descend in broken stages, suggesting that approach is always accompanied by uncertainty. Warmly lit walls gather a fleeting sense of welcome while the shadowed rock preserves the coast's more guarded character.

Across the leftward expanse, the water opens into a spacious silence interrupted only by scattered dark rocks and thin traces of surf. This openness gives the scene its serenity, though not a passive one. The sea seems to carry an electrical charge of possibility - a force that keeps the stillness alert and unsettled.

What endures is the tension between dwelling and departure. The clustered roofs imply continuity, while the vast horizon refuses to let the human world become complete or self-contained. In that meeting of shelter, steep terrain, and luminous distance, the work invites a lingering sense of lives lived close to change, where calm is real but never final.
