In the pause between departure and arrival, Drifting Drifting finds a delicate equilibrium between solitude and return. The bright boat rests on water that seems to hold time in suspension, while the open haze around it leaves its destination deliberately unresolved. Its stillness is not empty; a subdued tension gathers in the distance, where the world remains present but withheld.
The boat’s reflection extends beneath it like a second, less certain presence. Warm orange light gives the central form a pulse against the restrained waters, suggesting not drama but the persistence of a small human sign within an expansive quiet.
