A gesture held between tenderness and restraint, Curved Hand turns bodily language into an intimate enigma. The central arc feels poised rather than complete, as though the form is caught between reaching inward and offering itself outward. Its closeness denies any wider setting, keeping attention with the tension of a single, concentrated movement. Mauve, peach, and blue-gray passages soften that tension without dissolving it, allowing the work to remain both vulnerable and guarded.
The darker maroon recesses introduce a more private register, suggesting that tenderness here carries weight and hesitation. Small glints of gold move through the surrounding color like brief recognitions, never resolving the form into a fixed symbol. The result is less a depiction of a hand than an atmosphere of touch remembered, withheld, or still being decided.
