This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
CURRENT GLOW WAVE reflects a scene inspired by mermaid aesthetics, expressed through confident palette knife strokes and layered pigment.
The surface reveals intentional texture, with raised paint catching light and softer tones settling into subtle transitions.
The composition focuses on atmosphere and material presence rather than literal detail, encouraging calm and intuitive viewing.

Within a charged spiral of light and depth, Current Glow Wave presents movement as an inward pull rather than a scene with a fixed destination. The luminous turquoise and white curl seems to gather momentum at the center, where brightness briefly interrupts the surrounding blues and violet. Its mermaid-like atmosphere remains suggestive rather than illustrative, allowing the work to hover between natural force and imagined realm.
The composition draws the eye through successive turns, with the darker lower bands giving the central radiance a sense of pressure and release. Nothing settles into a shoreline, horizon, or recognizable setting; the absence of such anchors makes the motion feel suspended, as though the viewer has entered a current whose direction is sensed before it is understood. The result is energetic, but not chaotic - its drama is held within a clear inward rhythm.
At the edges, the deeper tones gather like a surrounding tide, while small violet interruptions keep the blue field from becoming uniform. This tension between immersion and resistance gives the work its emotional depth. It can suggest transformation, but leaves the nature of that change open: a passage into darkness, a return toward light, or simply the compelling sensation of being carried beyond the familiar.
