COLOR THRESHOLD GLASS - FRAMED

Across its measured fields of interruption, Color Threshold Glass turns color into a sequence of crossings rather than a settled image. The interlocking bands seem to pause between order and upheaval, allowing each vivid passage to press against the next without dissolving into it. What emerges is an abstract space of decisions - where a boundary can feel like a limit, a meeting point, or an invitation to move further.

The composition gathers its greatest force in the compressed middle, where warm and cool passages meet with little room for stillness. A narrow pale interval near the upper edge offers a momentary release, yet the surrounding blocks quickly draw attention back into the work’s charged rhythm. Its geometry feels deliberate without becoming rigid, as though structure is being continually tested by sensation.

This tension gives the painting an open emotional register. It may suggest the instant when perception shifts and familiar divisions become newly uncertain, not through narrative but through the persistent negotiation of one field with another. The small handwritten mark at the lower right remains discreet, leaving the larger encounter unresolved and alive.
