Across a luminous field of blue and shadow, Color Film Strip turns the language of photographs into a meditation on memory in motion. Its diagonal passage suggests a sequence that cannot be fully recovered, while the pale frames hold the promise of moments glimpsed rather than possessed. Behind them, the diffuse central glow feels less like a revealed scene than the afterimage of one, suspended between recognition and dream.
The leafy forms gathering along the darker edge complicate that sense of recollection, bringing something organic and ungoverned into the ordered rhythm of the film. Repeated perforations mark time with quiet insistence, yet the image resists becoming a clear narrative. It remains cinematic without offering a finished story - a place where memory, atmosphere, and imagination overlap, each changing what the others seem to contain.
