CITY NOISE COLORS - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

Between collision and cadence, City Noise Colors turns abstraction into a vivid study of urban feeling without naming a single street or figure. Its central band suggests sound made visible - overlapping, insistent, and impossible to reduce to one clear source. The work holds excitement and pressure together, as though the city’s pulse has been gathered into one restless field.

A bright yellow presence descends through the composition, giving the surrounding movement a momentary center before it breaks apart again. Red, blue, and teal passages press against one another with the force of competing signals, yet the image never settles into disorder. Its energy feels less like celebration than heightened awareness, the alertness of moving through a place that is always speaking.

Toward the edges, scattered marks and dark vertical accents leave the pale ground exposed, allowing silence to enter the visual rhythm. That interruption matters: the work is not only about noise, but about the fragments of attention that survive within it. What remains is an atmosphere of charged perception, where intensity becomes a way of noticing rather than a destination.
