CELESTIAL MIRAGE WALTZ - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

Between vast darkness and sudden radiance, Celestial Mirage Waltz proposes a meeting governed by movement rather than distance. The larger blue-green sphere seems to hold its own small point of awakening, while the surrounding glow gives it the force of a presence drawing the rest of the image into orbit. This is not a fixed cosmos but a moment of alignment, charged with the possibility that connection can alter the shape of space itself.

The smaller reddish-purple sphere, set apart yet bound to the larger form by sweeping bands of color, introduces a note of difference within that attraction. It may suggest a companion, a counterweight, or a second state of becoming. Their relationship remains deliberately unresolved: intimate without being complete, separated without appearing solitary. The image finds drama in that suspended exchange.

Across the darker field, scattered points of light keep the scene from settling into pure abstraction. They feel less like distant stars than flashes of awareness - brief recognitions carried through a larger, restless current. Gold and orange gather around the greater sphere, then give way to violet, turquoise, and pink, allowing the composition to move between radiance and mystery without choosing either as its final condition.
