CELESTIAL HARMONY - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

Between measured platforms and an almost boundless sky, Celestial Harmony presents balance as something provisional - held between weight, distance, and the pull of the unknown. Its three celestial forms seem less like fixed symbols than separate centers of gravity, each lending the landscape a different scale. The scene invites contemplation without settling into a single dream, poised between an ordered world and one that remains just beyond explanation.

The dark sphere at the left carries a concentrated, inward presence, while the pale golden form emerging through the clouds opens the image toward warmth and distance. Between them, the smaller central sphere creates a point of negotiation, as though the surrounding immensities could briefly share the same measure. The mountains do not anchor the scene so much as soften its passage between earthbound thought and cosmic reverie.

Below, the repeated forms and horizontal structures gather in reflection, making the lower half feel like a second realm rather than a simple echo. That doubling complicates the calm: every apparent certainty is accompanied by its counterpart, altered by depth and atmosphere. The work’s quiet strangeness lies in this suspended equilibrium, where stillness feels active and the horizon remains inward as much as distant.
