BUBBLE HUES - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

Across a field of open possibility, Bubble Hues turns overlapping circles into a lively study of nearness and release. Each form seems to arrive from a different rhythm, yet their shared space creates a sense of buoyant connection. The work holds onto abstraction without becoming distant; its shifting blues, violets, pinks, and turquoise invite the eye to move freely, as though color itself were making room for another thought.

The bright curved highlights lend the circles an almost inward light, but they do not settle the image into a single reading. They may suggest fleeting impressions, bubbles of memory, or simply the pleasure of forms gathering before they drift apart. What feels playful at first gradually becomes more contemplative, because every overlap carries a small tension between intimacy and independence.

At the edges, several larger forms continue beyond the frame, giving the composition a welcome sense of continuation. Nothing appears fully contained, and that refusal of enclosure keeps the mood buoyant without making it weightless. The painting offers a moment of visual ease while leaving its associations open, like a conversation that remains bright because it has not yet reached an ending.
