Inspired by autumn

Autumn is a very peculiartime of the year. Following the hot summer and preceding the cold winter, it is remarkable for a delicate sort of warmth with a touch of sweet melancholy in it. The autumn forest strikes the eye with a great palette of shades and caresses the ear with a gentle rustle of falling leaves. On a wonderful day like that, there is nothing better than putting all your troubles aside and taking a walk through a deserted park led by its flaming colors and the scent of mystery spilled in the chilly air.

Alone in the woods

Trying to express all the beauty of the maple forest, the artist painted an empty alley running between the motley trees and disappearing in the enigmatic blue fog on the horizon. There is nothing to distract you from observing this peaceful scene in the middle of the woods – no traces of civilization, no human-made buildings, not a single soul as far as the eye can see. While looking at this picture, you lose the sense of reality, because it doesn’t contain any reference to a certain year or even certain time of the day. The only thing that matters is the scenery itself so full of color and glory. There aren’t many places in the world that are still untouched by the human hand. And this Canadian forest is a perfect example of wild naturein its virgin charm. The bluefog curling between the fiery maplesdoesn’t take the colors away, it seems to be so distant that you can forget about the nearing winter and enjoy the delicacy of the day in a place where you have never been…

3 days ago I put a picture of Afremov in the living room and not pry my eyes off her. Afremov is an artist who paints with fireworks, the rich colors so beautifully combined as if painted with light. Until now I never suspected that his art can act so inspiring.

We just received our 36x30 of SICILY — MESSINA and we love it! We had it gallery wrapped and it's already the focal point of the living room. Of course recreations are not reproductions, so it is not identical to the original, but it is beautiful and perfect just as it is. The colors are amazing and bring so much cheerfulness to the room. It's a fun conversation piece since everyone has a different opinion on if it's sunrise or sunset. I placed my order 9/16/15 and the delivery came from Mexico very well packaged on 10/8/15. I'm sure we will be buying more Afremovs soon, and I hope to visit his studio someday!

I received a painting that I just love love love. But after a couple of weeks the painting is still wonderful but it is very noticeably rippling. I guess the canvas was not pulled tight enough on the frame. I will have to get fixed properly on the frame. However I still adore this painting.
