Capturing a moment

How do artists paint their masterpieces? Sometimes you can see them sitting outside with their easels, paints and brushes and creating their magic on a canvas. However, in our digital age they only have to take a picture of a place they want to paint so that later they could recreate it in a comfortable environment at home.
