about this painting:

Prints versus oil canvases

Link Fine Art is a resource where you can buy prints, reproductions, posters, acrylic prints and etc. Many painters try to sell their artworks on this resource but not every strategy is successful. Others find it hard to sell anything via this resource. Therefore there are a lot of discussions online among the users of Fine Art: how to sell your prints using this service? Every painter has his own secrets.

The following painting would suit Fine Art New York section. However, there is no such division there. FAA became famous due to the easiness of POD technology - the print on demand that is convenient to use in modern hasty life.

Advantages of prints

The advantages of prints include:

·                    Easiness of use

·                    Reasonable price

·                    Affordable art for all

However, prints will never become adequate substitutes of oil canvases. If you want to decorate your place withhandwork piece of artandsense the spirit of the painter, the smell of oil paints, feel their rough texture, you should make an order of Afremov’s painting online.

Impressionism in the USA

Afremov creates the paintings in Impressionism style. “Winds of New York” is an excellent example of his art dedicated to the United States. We see the Liberty Stature at the background and two bright sails who embellish this fantastic scenery. The strokes made by the author demonstrate how Afremov is devoted to this style. The broken rigidness of lines does not look nervous though. It looks stylish, interesting, and makes the landscape versatile.

It is worth saying that Impressionism was not always accepted in America, especially in the very beginning when it was a new trend. Winds of New York still brought Impressionism to the height of its fame.

Rejectingtechniqueaccuracy and precisionin thedepiction of objects, the Impressionists depictedlandscapes andscenes of everyday lifeof the middle classusingnatural light, rapid brushworkand richpalette.Young Americansin Parisin 1870,who studiedat thefaculty, such as Jean-Leon Gerome, ignored impressionism. Few of them whoaccepteda radicalstyle, were rejected by the"parents" of Impressionism. And the thirdgrouparranged the exhibition in the spring of1877.One of the Americans after visit to this exhibition wrote that he had never seen more horrible things than impressionist works, where the rules of drawing were not observed and creationshad no form. He was amazed that they callit nature.

We received the painting framed and ready to hang. It’s exactly what we wanted and are really pleased with it. The service and delivery was excellent. I am sure we will be back for more.

I've just receaved my wonderful Afremov! No words could describe it :) Delivery has been slower than I expected because of a missing VALID TAX ID or DEFERMENT NUMBER (strictly required for international delivery) but, after I added this info, UPS has been real fast (3-4 working days). Just another detail: I missed internation delivery policy, where is specified 50 bucks added to price. No probl, as I receaved a rolled painting instead of a streched one (plus 25 $ for "register today" offer, total 50$). Chat assistence was perfect, such as mail. Very nice job everyone!!
