Night stroll

Leonid Afremov invites you to walk around the night city. Imagine, city night rain is falling and you slowly walk under the umbrella, lost in thought. The bright signs of shop windows remind us of some New York street of the beginning of the 20th century. Although it's not too late, but all the shops are already closed probably because today is Sunday – a day off. There is a few people outdoors for 1 more reason - bad weather. But sometimes the walks like this give special pleasure because it is during them that we can enjoy the silence and look at the things they are familiar to us, that surround us every day a little differently, get distracted from our problems and find something new in the already familiar and the ordinary appearance of our city. After all, very often for residents of megacities and cities of medium size, it is almost impossible to find silence on crowded streets and rainy weather is almost the only case when we can find favorite places deserted and even empty. The picture clearly shows that recently there was a downpour because the street along which the passer-by walks is almost completely flooded with water. It flows down the street- this we see by the splotches on the asphalt or tile. But one passer-by – the main character of the painting who likes to view his favorite city under a different set of conditions still ventured out in this inclement weather and walk breathing fresh air, characteristic of the city after the rain. Despite the fact that the tree at the end of the street is green, we understand that it's not so warm, it is either autumn or spring. Obviously, this only passer-by is dressed quite warmly - he wears a jacket and trousers, he holds an umbrella in his hands. It can be seen that the rain has not fully stopped yet.
