Victories of the Old General

Today he chooses the art works from home and writes about the feats of the past. Many writers try to do the same but can’t describe the victories and losses so vividly, because they only imagine that and have never experienced those situations. The old general mastered the pen as skillfully as a weapon and now he gains victories on the literary field.

Some battles are beyond description but still he manages to make us feel that spirit. His portrait on the wall reminds him of the past bravery. His talent and wide horizon made him a winner in life. He is a respectable old man with huge life experience that is shared with young generation now. The painter tells us a very interesting story. Every detail on the canvas contributes to the narration created in the minds of viewers, who are intrigued by it and want to know the whole story.

Real professionals never quit

Art works are available to former professionals who left their jobs for health or age reasons, but still have much to tell. It is convenient for them because:

• They can do it at any time.

• They don’t have to be employed to do this type of work.

• They create when they have mood and inspiration.

Our general is not able to continue the military career but he can share the reminiscences, give instructions and be helpful in other issues. When your job was your calling, you never quit.

Though the portrait is a part of the setting, the cat on it looks as if it is alive. The eyes are full of life and energy. We see a young general on the portrait, but we understand that the eyes of the old general remained the same due to his spirit. Otherwise, he would retire completely. However, the old general continues conquering life, and his fighting spirit always brings him success.

Portraying the character
