 The guitar genius

Modern world hasn’t forgotten the name of Jimi Hendrix. Although the rise of his career lasted only four years, his incomparable manner of playing the guitar made him one of the greatest instrumentalists in the history of rock music. Hendrix successfully experimented with amplifier feedback and sound distortion, creating his own musical style. Another innovation was a promotion of a wah-pedal that changed the tone and frequencies of the guitar signal. So it’s no surprise that inventive Jimi carried the title of the Pop Musician of the Year in 1967 and the Performer of the Year in 1968. Unfortunately, as well as many artists, Jimi Hendrix became a victim of drugs addiction and alcoholism. These two evils ruined his personality and life. He died at the age of 27, so young and so talented. But his virtuoso performances continue to make him the most influential figure in music.
