about this painting:
Climax of the show
In his burning dance painting, the artist Leonid Afremov depicted two dancers who are engaged by the lively tango. This time, he chose one of the most sensitive poses in the dance when the partner holds his partner by the waist and she literally lies above the floor. Her long hair is almost touching the floor. It’s so sexual. The same can be said of her dress, which drooped almost to the floor, revealing her elastic buttocks. Relaxation is enhanced by the position of the woman’s legs. While one her leg with a thin long heel stands on the ground, or rather on the floor, the knee of the left leg is raised high up. As for the image of her partner, the artist portrayed him as a real macho or showman – as you like. He is worn in a golden sequin jacket and elegant shoes. Although the elements of the clothing for dancing cannot be seen behind the many colorful strokes that the whole painting is strewn with. They literally everywhere as if someone blew up a cracker in the room. They definitely create an atmosphere of celebration and magic.
We suggested that our characters dance tango but in the world there are many more dances in which sensitive poses predominate. Let's list some of them:
- Flamenco, Spain. Passionate and emotional Spanish dance is performed not because the curtain is lifted and it’s time to start the performance, but because the dancers can’t restrain their desire to express their feelings no more.
- Tango, Argentina. If your favorite album on your phone is La Revancha del Tango and you want to enjoy the passionate movements of a seductive lady and her partner, you should go straight to Buenos Aires.
- Sabar, Senegal. To see this fiery African dance, taking its name from the Sabar drum, famous throughout Africa, you should go to Senegal. Very energetic, emphasizing female sensuality and coquetry and male sexuality, it is often performed at weddings or festivals dedicated to the birth of children.
Feel the festive mood of Leonid Afremov’s painting, which will always be transmitted to you through the canvas.
