Leonid Afremov would like to bring your attention to his next painting, Circle of Comfrot, a marvelous canvas on the autumn theme, an authentic piece of art. The work, as always, amazes with the riot of colors – here we see the entire palette of autumn colors – yellow, green, red  and orange. While below the warmer colors prevail, at the top we see a large number of cold shades – dark blue, blue, violet and even black. The light from the lantern literally ignites the foliage of the painting coloring it in yellow and orange shades. In general, the composition is very characteristic of the artist – we see a lonely man standing near a lantern in an autumn park. Judging by the fact that he is holding an umbrella in his hands it's raining.

Let us dwell in more detail on the figure of the man. In fact, this is a rather strange character reminiscent of a Buddhist monk by his attire. He is dressed in a kind of dressing gown of a yellowish brown color, which is usually worn by adherents of this religion. The umbrella stick emerges from behind his arms crossed on the chest. We do not see its end because of the wide hanging sleeves. The garment frames the whole figure tapering closer to the legs. It makes the person mysterious and adds additional mysticism to the painting closely echoing the autumn theme.
