UNFOLDING STAIR PRISM presents a stair structure that opens into prismatic facets as it climbs staged inside a minimal architectural void where only the unfolding structure is in focus. The composition is arranged to make solid architecture feel unstable, with edges that almost line up and then slide out of agreement. Spaces appear to overlap or fold, so that a single area can read as foreground in one glance and distant background in the next.
Working in an oil painting palette knife style, the artist describes every surface with stone grays, cool whites, and small flashes of muted color pressed and dragged across the canvas.
