This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures

Under The Carousel Ribbons draws you straight to a mushroom cottage in moss, placed close to the picture plane inside a pocket-sized greenhouse.

Reflections and highlights are suggested with broad strokes instead of tiny linework. Depth comes from overlapping planes rather than fussy detail. Light is staged in layers: a bright foreground note, a quieter midground, and a deep receding distance. Small accents sit where the eye naturally pauses, guiding the viewing path.

Bright pastels with orange and cobalt drives the mood, while soft glow and controlled shadows keep it readable. The scene lands as surprising but gentle, a quiet moment shaped by light and space.

Knife strokes remain visible by design, giving the scene a tactile finish while keeping details broad and achievable.

Texture is emphasized through ridged impasto that catches light and gives the surface a sculptural feel.

Directional knife marks subtly point toward the subject, creating movement even in still scenes.

The composition is staged like a set: foreground clarity, midground context, and a distant layer that fades into color.
