This is a real 100% UNIQUE Hand-painted ONE-OF-A-KIND ORIGINAL mixed media painting by Afremov Gallery (not a print, or recreation artwork)

The painting is signed on the front and the back, this artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity, personally signed by the artist

This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures

SHATTERED CASCADE LANTERN interprets arched pale shapes circling a central void, sliding in a narrow band across the form, with knife marks following the implied weight of form through sculpted pigment, allowing palette knife strokes to lead the eye.

Rather than smoothing the surface, the artist emphasizes every mark, letting ridges and grooves remain visible. These irregularities serve as a map of decisions, revealing where forms were adjusted, reinforced, or allowed to dissolve. Across the painting, this layered approach echoes the way memory and perception overlap.

Even in its most abstract passages, the work retains the sensation of tonal contrast, held together by repeating rhythms of stroke and tone. The contemplative character of the painting comes forward gradually
