This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures

After The Carousel draws you straight to a striped candy bridge, placed close to the picture plane inside a teacup valley.

Windblown ribbons adds a second beat of story without crowding the surface. Midground shapes stay simplified and graphic, while texture supplies the nuance. Small accents sit where the eye naturally pauses, guiding the viewing path. Negative space is used on purpose, letting the composition breathe.

Color moves through bright pastels with orange and cobalt, building contrast through thick, visible impasto ridges. Overall it reads playful and dreamlike, letting texture and color do most of the narration.

The design favors paintability: clear silhouettes, big value shapes, and texture that implies detail without demanding it.

Texture is emphasized through ridged impasto that catches light and gives the surface a sculptural feel.

The composition is staged like a set: foreground clarity, midground context, and a distant layer that fades into color.

The brightest paint sits on the focal object, while the background stays looser and more abstracted to preserve depth.

Directional knife marks subtly point toward the subject, creating movement even in still scenes.
