This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures

1918 LIBERTY SIX TOURING RIVER SHIMMER is designed as a close-up portrait of the 1918 Liberty Six Touring rather than a distant scene with a small vehicle inside it. The composition should push the car forward so the viewer immediately notices the period silhouette and specific recognizable details, especially the curved fenders, grille, hood ornament, and front body shape. This makes the automobile itself the star of the painting.

The background uses a bright canal-side background with shimmering water and painterly architecture and should stay bright, expressive, and distinctly decorative. It is important that the setting feels colorful and alive, but still simplified enough to support the main object. A strong Leonid Afremov-inspired treatment is essential here: heavy impasto, thick palette-knife strokes, and luminous saturated color should define both the vehicle and the surrounding atmosphere.

rich orange, scarlet, electric blue, violet, and golden reflections help shape the final mood, keeping the painting bold, warm, and highly visual. This concept would suit a study, office, hallway, living room, garage lounge, or collector’s space, especially for buyers who want a vintage car image with a much more painterly and colorful decorative finish.

The strongest result should feel like a recognizable portrait of the car set against a rich Afremov-style color world.
