TRAIN YARD IN FOG treats the scene almost like a remembered fragment. What stands out first is parked rail cars and signal posts, but the surrounding world of an industrial train yard at the edge of a city is just as important because it provides scale, rhythm, and silence around the main form.

Instead of chasing tiny detail, the painting relies on large directional marks and confident color blocks. The arrangement is long perspective disappearing into mist, which gives the eye a clear route to follow. Nothing is fussy, yet every scraped edge and loaded stroke contributes to the sense of place.
