I ordered "The Aura of Autumn" in December 2015. All three beautiful paintings arrived very promptly and very well packed. What you see on the web site is just a tiny piece of the beauty of Mr Afremov's art. Seeing the actual paintings is an exciting experience. Living in a country where rain is something usual I have always considered it as gloomy and even annoying until I saw these paintings which showed me the rain as a magical natural phenomenon. We are the proud owners of 45 of Leonid's master pieces and counting! Our latest acquisition is the exquisite and rare Somewhere in Israel. It just arrived and it is glorious. Ordering a paining of a place where you actually lived is always risky as your appreciation of the painting is going to reflect your own experiences and memories. Amazingly, Leonid captures everything so incredibly well: light, color, texture, architecture, plants, even the color of earth, pavement, and houses. We have a full collection in every room. The paintings are new every time you look at them, because you see a figure or a face or an animal hidden in the palate strokes you somehow missed before. Amazing! Pure genius. Modern day Chagal!!
