After I have sold one of a kind original I'm missing the painting on my wall and I want to repeat it. I'm paint it exactly the same way to have it in my house again. Some times I'm also repaint one of a kind originals from older times as nostalgia. I love the paintings so much that I want to relive the moments of creating them again.

Such paintings can be created more than once and they are all 100% painted by me. In such cases they become originals from home gallery. They are sold for a fixed price of $250 USD and are offered only to fans via social media and email newsletters.

I'm not photograph in HD the repeat paintings, so the image of the painting shown on the website is always a photo of one of a kind original

about this painting:

Felines and Fun

The cat band

Before us is another painting by Leonid Afremov combining two Leonid's favorite themes – cats and music. Also in this painting the artist used his favorite trick – the background mottled by multicolored brush strokes. The colors are so diverse that it is almost impossible to distinguish which one of them prevails.

As for the cats-musicians themselves, then it is necessary first of all to dwell on their clothes – they are dressed quite simply as many of the characters of the paintings by Leonid Afremov. They are simple musicians amateurs, not professionals. Most likely they play in small establishments – cafes and bars. And in general, judging by their clothes, the actions in the painting take place at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries. On a cat playing a trumpet, we see a white shirt and vest; the cat playing a violin is dressed in a simple white dress. Behind the accordion we do not see any the clothes of the cat harmonist at all. It is very difficult to understand what emotions musicians experience – their facial expressions are rather strange – their eyes are rather sad, especially the ones of the cat-violinist. Who knows, maybe they are playing something very sad. And because of this they themselves got sad.

This magic music

Since people invented music, the world has changed. It is probably impossible to find such a person in whose life there is no music. Leonid Afremov, being an artist, also does not stay away from music. But as you know, any music is created thanks to musical instruments. And there are a great many of them. Let's learn some interesting facts about musical instruments:

  1. The most famous violins are made by Italian master Antonio Stradivari. It is believed that he was aware of some secret that made his tools unique.
  2. The most expensive flute in the world was the instrument, released in 1939 by the company Powell. It was made from pure platinum.
  3. Electric guitar was invented by Leo Fender – a man who never knew how to play the guitar.

The funny musical oil composition will always fill your home with the atmosphere of magic and celebration as the other paintings by the artist.

Testimonials
I purchased two of your paintings several years ago.and am happy to say they are just as vibrant and alive as the were when I bought them. The colors just sing, Everyone who comes to visit asks about them and wants to know where I got them. They just glow like the sunsets they represent,I am so proud of them and planning to buy more

I received my painting this evening. I ordered The Rain Princess. I was really hoping it would look like the original but was prepared to be lenient due to the fact that the artist repaints it for you. (Which is pretty cool). However, I was very happy. I've been waiting to give it a prime spot on my wall and it looks so beautiful......autumn is my absolute favorite season and I love this painting.
