about this painting:
Lonely Cat Hug
The wonderful painting by Leonid Afremov is striking not only with its paints but also with its emotions. At first we will stop on paints. The artist used a very rich palette to depict the characters of his painting. The background is bright confetti of a variety of colors – yellow, orange, red, white, blue and others. This colorful confetti scarf is wrapped around the neck of one of the two characters of the painting – the man-cat.
And now let's move on to the main characters of the painting, because this is the most important thing – two cats, a man and a woman, merged into an embrace. The man-cat looks at his girlfriend with the expression of great sadness on his face. It seems that the girl-cat – the love of all his life – leaves him and it is not known how long the separation will last. They tenderly embrace each other like two loving people. We are witnessing genuine emotions that are rare in the human world. Perhaps the most expressive in the picture is the expression of the man-cat’s eyes – they are so sad that looking at them cause tears in our eyes. An amazing combination of colors and mood of the painting makes it truly unique – on the one hand, bright colors, on the other – great sorrow and sadness.
Hugging without borders
Hugs are much more useful than it might seem at first glance. Studies show that hug helps every person both psychologically and physically and not only a person but a cat too as shown in the original painting. You might not believe but there is a whole section in clinical psychology devoted to the study of hugging. So, the scientist found out that men like hugging because they feel:
Whereas women hug because:
- Hugging makes them feel beloved.
- linked to another person.
- Hugging is psychological support for them, akin to therapy.
As for children hugging enables them to love. Children who grew up to 7 years without hugs may not be able to love others.
We really hope that this painting will suit your taste!
