about this painting:

Autumn fog hides the future

Though the boom period for fine art auctions is over, the desire to purchase paintings remains on high level. This market collapsed in the 1990-s. In Europe France was a leader in this sphere, while in Asia the leadership still belongs to Hong Kong. France started losing its positions from the middle of the last century. The auctions are arranged for the most expensive pieces of art nowadays, masterpieces of the past and paintings of the fashionable artists.

Interest to visual arts make people look for remarkable fine art works and Afremov’s works attract the attention of many viewers. “Autumn fog” is just one of the paintings, created by this amazing artist.

What autumn fog hides

“Autumn fog” is an instance of perfectly painted fog. The painting is full of beauty and seems to be without a subject. However, it is not so. All Afremov’s paintings include deep meaning.

The picture depicts the alley with a walking couple. We do not see them close and can just suppose if this is the first date or they have been married for years. Beautiful leaves decorate the painting. They are in the foreground and seem to be the main subject of this artwork. However, the painting is called “The autumn fog” because the leaves decorate the scene, forming a frame of the picture. They are right in front of us and are clearly seen, while all the rest details are not as they are surrounded with a fog already. The couple is going away and fog thickens over them. Fog also hides their future. Nobody knows the future and autumn fog is just a metaphor of this unawareness. Winter is close with, probably, the most difficult period. We should hope for the best but still expect the worst. The couple is going to the unknown and we can only guess what they feel.

How to fight anxiety

Some people are too anxious about the future. They see this fog and think that future is full of dangers. Uncertainty drives them mad, therefore they live with feeling of anxiety.  It is hard to enjoy life in the state of fear.  The psychologists advise:

·                    To replace the expectations with concrete actions and plans;

·                    Focus on things that you are able to control and not on something that is beyond it;

·                    Get confident in your own abilities.

Art gives many lessons to us and make us think about their deeper meaning.

I just received my painting "When Dreams Come True" that I bought for a friend as a gift. It looks amazing and I am extremely happy. I was given speedy responses to all my questions during the process and plan on getting another one in the future. Thank you so much!

I generally don't like blurry style pictures, but I liked these a lot. Unfortunately, I can't afford them, but I did share the article link that led me here with relatives. Some of them will probably check out this web site, too. Mr. Afremov, your art work is lovely!

Let me just say that the pictures of these paintings do not do them justice. They are beyond beautiful in person. I purchased 3 last year and just purchased my 4th painting and I can't wait to hang it in my office. They are all so beautiful its hard to choose just one. I love the bright colors they are just breathtaking. I plan to purchase more in the future when I get the money and the space in my home to do so.
