Discovering Hellas

Leonid Afremov's Greek paintings are primarily depictions of Greek cities with their unique atmosphere and color. With these canvases, you will have a unique opportunity to walk the streets of small Greek cities not visiting this amazing country in reality. Those who were in Greece will surely remember these landscapes. They will want to visit this Paradise on Earth again. And how else can you call this country? One of the most ancient civilizations of the world, it owes its glory, status and advancement to its convenient location and mild climate. And of course, this gave a reason for the artists of all times and peoples to depict Greek landscapes on their canvases. And Leonid Afremov, of course, did not stay aside – his paintings are full of bright colors that this country gives us. They are so juicy that it seems that the paintings were made not on the Earth but in some other world, the world of fairy tales and romance. In these paintings you will find the images of many Greek cities – Lesbos, Marina and others. Through the canvases you will be able to feel everything, with which we associate this country – hot afternoon, fiesta after dinner, measured life, olives and so on. These canvases cannot but cause calm and relaxation. Every time looking at them you will want to be back in Greece again and again. We very much hope that you will have this opportunity.

Greece as it is

Well, to make you even closer acquainted with this country. We present to your attention a few interesting facts about Greece:

  • Greece in Greek is Hellas, and the Greeks are Hellenes and Hellenids (as they call themselves). There are also so-called Pontiacs – ethnic immigrants from Russia and the countries of the former CIS (mainly Georgia and Kazakhstan).
  • Greece is really very sunny. If you look at the cities from above, you will see that the roofs of the houses are equipped with solar panels and silver tanks. It helps to save much energy.
  • With such a stream of ultraviolet radiation, the Greeks do not wear hats.

Immerse yourself in the Greek sea and enjoy the Greek sun with the paintings of Leonid Afremov.

Testimonials
I have read a lot lately about Mr Afremov's marketing and his business. I'm not sure how he can keep up with orders and produce paintings every day when he has a potential customer base of hundreds of millions of people worldwide. However, in saying that, I placed my order for the above painting in early March. It took about 3-4 weeks to ship (which seemed acceptable) and arrived promptly from Mexico within a few days, which seemed fast. The painting quality looks comparable with the picture online, and generally I am very satisfied with the production quality. I'm aware it is a relatively quick and easy-to-paint artwork; but overall, I'm happy and would even buy another.

I'm blessed, Mr Afremov for having your masterfully created collection of artwork to enliven my space just right before Christmas. They are among the best holiday presents I ever received ! Also, much appreciation to David and Boris for ensuring a smooth and first class delivery.

Thank you for the painting Melody of the Night, which we have ordered in a very large size. It is as beautiful as here in the Internet. Unfortunatelly, our request to put an inscription on the back of it was somehow ignored, despite you saying it could easily be done. That was important for us.. However, we really liked the painting! Stunning!
